Explore Your Immigration Options: Syrian TPS Screening Clinic Registration

July 1 @ 8:00 am - July 31 @ 5:00 pm

The Syria TPS litigation team (Muslim Advocates, International Refugee Assistance Project, and Van Der Hout) are partnering with Immigrant Justice Corp (IJC) to host a virtual immigration screening clinic for Syrian TPS holders. Individuals will be paired with IJC-affiliated attorneys who will assist in assessing eligibility for humanitarian immigration benefits, such as asylum, U-Visas, and T-Visas. The purpose of the project is to help Syrian TPS holders apply for alternative immigration status to help ensure there is no break in lawful presence in the event that TPS is terminated.

Individuals who register for the clinic will not be represented by the attorney they are paired with. This is a one-time screening for immigration benefits eligibility and individuals will be asked to sign a waiver of representation form, which states that the attorney is not representing the individual in applying for immigration benefits or in any other immigration-related matter. It is possible that individuals will be provided with referrals to attorneys who may be able to engage in full representation, but this is not guaranteed.

Immigrants Act Now is coordinating and facilitating this service by connecting Syrian TPS holders with the organizations and volunteer attorneys providing the screenings.

Please fill out the registration form and you will be contacted sometime in early- to mid-July to set up a screening appointment.
